people have a same opinion that snow boots are just winter boots .This is actually wrong. Generally, Snow boots are heavier than winter boots, and are designed for the people who are going to stay in snow for a lot of time, or other muddy or wet winter weather conditions.
Winter boots are mostly designed with the idea of keeping warm inside the boots. Winter boots usually look more fashionable than snow boots, but they will not provide the protection of a good snow boot.
If you are going to be walking through or standing in a lot of snow, you will obviously want to buy a pair of boots which designed specifically for that purpose. A lot of snow boot manufacturers provide temperature ratings for their boots, and specify whether they’re for heavy cold weather activity or not.
